i was hoping robin would stay. meh.

i think the lopez era was ultimately unfulfilling. the anticipation when we signed them was 1F4, 1 NC at best, 1F4 at worst (or so Omark had us believe). We got a 20 point loss in the first round to Lville, then a 20 point loss in the S16 to UT. sigh. And Robin does not have the legacy (10 points 5 boards? really?) to justify leaving as a sophomore. The whole “big brother’s shadow” is precisely the reason to stay, not leave. Big man on campus, Wii, go from being a 18-40 pick (and $1M/yr at most) to a top 12 pick (1.5M+). I can come up with better reasons for Brook to stay than I can for Robin to leave. Sigh.
